Megaupload recently changed it's upload and download limits for free members. The new upload limit which free members are also able to download is up to 1 gigabyte per file. The old limit was 500mb per file.. Therefore we are considering whether to still split our megaupload links into parts now that there is a larger limit, however we don't want to inconvience anyone who needs to download from megaupload and need or prefer the hjsplit parts. Please vote in the poll so we can decide what to do from here. Thank you.

It really doesn't matter to me but I voted anyway. haha. I can download from MU with 700mb but no parallel downloading allowed. So, whichever suits me. If it doesn't work then I will resort to MF. hehe

Thanks for voting. I hope people who've voted in the poll weren't confused though. This isn't a question about parallel downloading, because I know you have to have a premium account to download more than file at a time with megaupload. This is about quantity of file size only instead of the number of files. For some people even downloading 1 file of 500mb or more may be a problem, because with sites like megaupload, you can't resume your downloads and if your connection is lost before the download completes, then your whole download is lost which is why splits may be better for those who may have trouble keeping their connection to megaupload while trying to download a big file. |

I'll prefer the downloads to be less then 500mbs because some peoples internet is pretty shabby, like mine, and im scared like that i have downloaded to 999mbs then my internet connection shuts down so i prefer less then 500mbs...

i don't like downloading split files.. i have fast internet acces so i can download big files pretty fast ![]() but considering other people who aren't lucky with fast internet, i guess it's better to keep providing split files ^^ i think it's best to provide both i guess ^^ |

i don't have any problems downloading over 500mb at a time. I believe megaupload has happy hour which means that you can get unlimited download during the hours as long as you have an account and the megaupload tool bar. Also about resuming the downloads, if you download the mega manager thingy you can easily resume your downloads. |
